Course One: "October Half Term Cricket"
Date: Wednesday 29th October - Friday 31st October
Venue: Berkshire Cricket Centre, The Piggott School, Wargrave
Time: Group 1 (ages 7-11 years) 10am - 12.30pm. Group 2 (12-16 years) 12.30pm - 3pm
Cost: £22 per session or £55 for all 3 sessions
Course Two: "Specialist Development Course"
Date: Friday 7th Nov, 14th Nov, 21st Nov, 28th Nov, 5th Dec, 12th Dec and 19th Dec
Venue: Performance Cricket Academy at Shiplake College
Times: Group 1 (ages 7-11 years) 6.30pm - 7.45pm. Group 2 (12-16 years) 7.45pm - 9.15pm
Cost: Group 1, £105. Group 2 £175. Note a 10% booking applies if paid for in advance before 24th October
Course Three: "Christmas Cracker Course"
Dates: Monday 15th December to Wednesday 17th December
Venue: St. Piran's School, Maidenhead
Times: 10am - 3pm each day. Ages 7 - 12 years
Cost: £35 per day or £90 for all 3 days
Course Four: "Christmas Cracker Course"
Dates: Monday 22nd December and Tuesday 23rd December
Venue: Performance Cricket Academy at Shiplake College
Times: Group 1 (ages 7-11 years) 9.30pm - 12.30pm. Group 2 (12-16 years) 1 - 4pm
Cost: £25 per session or £45 for both sessions
Course Five: "Happy New Year Pay n Play"
Dates: Friday 2nd January 2009
Venue: Performance Cricket Academy at Shiplake College
Times: 10am - 2pm for all ages both junior and senior players. Come along, have a bat n bowl working off some Christmas rust!
Cost: £10 per hour per person.

CRICKET COURSES The majority of cricket courses take place during the school holidays. We use a host of different venues across the county which have included Henley Cricket Club, Shiplake College, the University of Reading, the Berkshire Cricket Centre and St. Piran ’s School, Maidenhead.
Whether indoors during the winter or outdoors in the summer all cricket courses are interactive, fun, learning experiences for all participants. Participant age ranges are from 7 to 17 years. “Performance Cricket” is fortunate to have an experienced and skilled team of coaches. This team is well equipped to deliver high quality and enjoyable courses and caters for beginners through to national level players. Check out the “about the coaches” section for more information. Whatever your goals there will be a cricket course for you this year.
A real feature of all courses is the attention to detail and “player centred” approach to coaching and tuition. With young players we aim to enthuse and capture the imagination for cricket and, more importantly, a positive attitude to exercise and competition. We believe an active lifestyle is part of leading a healthy and balanced life. Encouraging positive long term habits is a major feature with “Performance Cricket”.
Chris Ellison, who manages the programme is a specialist in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Exeter. His background also includes expert knowledge and experience in young people’s development through sport and physical activity. We follow the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB’s) endorsed Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) programme. Using this level of knowledge and expertise a multi skill environment is created. Skills, fitness and confidence gained are transferable to many other sports and activities. |
