Annie has 10 years experience of working within NHS as a Specialist Sports Recovery Lead in mental health. She helped set up a Berkshire, Bucks & Oxon mental health league with the FA and in addition established a national cricket network & annual national cricket tournament for people with severe and enduring mental health conditions
Annie’s passion is athletics, she has represented Cornwall, South West & Reading AC at 800m, 1500m and 4x400m. In 2001 she gained an athletics scholarship at McNeese State University, USA. Annie has a Masters in Health & Human Promotion & a BSC in Sports & Exercise Science.
Since having 3 children Annie has retired from athletics but loves to keep fit through triathlon training. In addition she is a qualified Level 1 ECB cricket coach and Level 1 FA football coach.Annie & Chris have 3 energetic boys who inspired them to set up the Little Crickets programme in the area; catering for the lack of provision of cricket for children under the age of 7.
Having 3 physical boys Annie loves being around and working around children, watching them having fun whilst developing an interest and passion for sports. Annie works mainly behind the scenes but enjoys coaching when she gets a chance at weekends.
